Those Shoes are smokin...

Our daily sartorialist post from the man himself

Sandals (Oh the sandals!) worn with grey ankle socks
Check out the plastic wedge between the leather upper and the wooden cone heel! Now that I can walk in heels, anyone know where these are from??
I want to do this right now...

Down pillow no more!
When can I move in? No, seriously

I cannot remember where I found these pics I posted below, so sorry, but they are shots of one the most incredible apartments in Paris I have never seen. (Yes, that was on purpose!) letter to whomever loves here, I am willing to swap mine for yours!

I'm in love with the chevron wood flooring! Stunning

Colour Profusion

How cool are the shots above? From womenswear 'Caravana' 's runway show for Australian Fashion week 2006. I just liked the pretty colors.

Arlenis Sosa

This stunning model hails from the Dominican Republic. She has been featured in many advertising campaigns including one for one of my favorite stores - Topshop!

Vampire Weekend!

I really like this song 'Taxi Cab' by Vampire Weekend. It's from their most recent album, 'Contra'. I loved their first album and this one is equally brilliant.

It played on my ipod as the plane left NY for London - Taxi cab geddit? Jokes aside, I could listen to this on repeat a million times and not be bored

"One day we're gonna live in Paris...I promise"

I love the picture below, I was in Portland and saw this poster in a friends room, how great will it look in a black frame? tres chic!

It is called Paris, The City of Lights and its by an artist named Thomas Barbey. His work is very surrealistic, but I love the floating lightbulbs.

So my first post is an ode to Paris, a city I truly want to visit.

Even though I am relativly easy to please, for the longest time I have had an obsession with all things French; french fashion; CHANEL, Isabel Marant, french food - Crepe anyone? etc etc, and I would love to be more fluent in the language (its on my ever growing list of things to accomplish) BUT I mostly want to visit the city that from afar seems like one of the most romantic cities in the world...What city do you have a love affair with and are yet to visit?

P.s. The title of this post is a lyric from the fantastic song by Friendly Fires, aptly named 'Paris' ;)
